Today’s stream was off to a rocky start. As many of you know I’m job hunting and I was asked for my availability, which they completely disregarded. So they called me today, during stream, when I wasn’t expecting any phone calls from unknown numbers. So we had a LONGER than I would of liked BRB for what ultimately seems to be for nothing. Not surprising, but I’ll find something soon! <3
Anyways, we played Farm Together 2, started the event and then we game hopped to Project Hospital! Then, you know how it goes. I was getting ready to end stream and then…. my favorite Project Zomboid streamer, Loop_Hazard, raided with 74 viewers!!! Yes I am biased, he’s the only PZ streamer I follow. I tried looking for others but they all play with mods. Regardless of whether or not you play, imagine running around in a post apocalyptic Kentucky world being chased by 500 zombies and being such a bad ass that you just rest on the ground before going back to smacking them one by one with a baseball bat. That is an average Wednesday for Loop_Hazard and I feel like that’s enough reason to negate any bias!
I streamed later than usual today. On brand with my “I do what I want.” ; )
It felt nice! I usually end by 4pm Pacific, to conserve power during peak usage and knit. BUT today is also the first Thursday stream in over two months where I did NOT have to go to my Project Management Certification Program course! Since I was honored to be the class valedictorian, I allowed the extra scope. ;)
So I had to end stream sometime right? I’m now like an hour past my usual end time and uh well…. it happened again? Only this time, I didn’t get raided but we got a Level 2 hype train thanks to Mavrick_Gaming0! Not only that but we met my first sub goal of 10 subs! To be honest, I’m a new follower so I don’t have many stories to tell yet! However, he came recommended by another friend of mine and I can tell you that I’m happy I followed. As someone that likes to see the drive but not do the drive, watching Mav drive the rig and get to road trip from the comfort of my own home was exactly what I was hoping for when I hit the follow button. All in all, what started as a rocky stream turned into one of those streams where I kept saying “okay, NOW I’m going to end” and then somehow ended up staying another hour. 😂 Thank you to everyone who hung out, raided, hyped, and helped me hit my first sub goal! <3
